Feed & Flour Quality Control Technician

Role Objective
Quality Control inspection, sampling and analysis and reporting its compliance to standards and specifications.
Duties and Responsibilities
• To carry out Q.C. analysis (raw material, in process and finished products) as per the Q.C plan
• Inspections of OFM and collection of sample from different places
• To coordinate collection and analysis of samples received on hourly basis
• Inspection and sampling of Wheat, Corn, Soyabean meal, Bran, Barley etc at seaport upon arrival of cargo ship as per inspection plan and procedures developed by QC team.
• Monitoring the quality of raw material in silos and store during the storage period, including control of pest and any degradation in the quality and reporting it to the concern department for appropriate actions.
• To communicate and report on all conformances as well as non-conformances related to quality of raw material, packing material, in process and finished products.
• Inspection of flour and feed mill premises as per inspection schedule – daily, weekly and monthly or as and when required by the team/management.
• Raise and investigate NCRs, CCN in coordination with other team members.
• Ready to work on weekend, holidays, Shifts and overtime as and when required.
Education: (Minimum)
Dimploa Degree in food technology/ Food Science/Chemistry/Applied chemistry/Science
Experience: (Years and nature of experience)
1 to 3 years’ experience will be preferable
Some Experience from Food and water testing Laboratory is desirable.
Special Skills & Knowledge
Strong flour technology knowledge and background
Food safety and Food regulation knowledge
Hands on lab analysis experience in flour and feed
Knowledge on GLP and ISO 17025
Strong communicator and motivator along with a team
Knowledge Occupational hazards and safety precautions necessary in the workplace.
