Music Teacher – Classical & Western Music

Job DescriptionRoles & ResponsibilitiesWe are inviting applications from qualified, experienced, and passionate Music Teachers with expertise in Indian Classical and/or Western Music. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging music education, developing students' musical abilities, and preparing students for school-level and inter-school performances and competitions.Key Responsibilities:-Plan and deliver effective music lessons in accordance with the school's curriculum and academic objectives.Teach Indian Classical and/or Western Vocal/Instrumental Music based on expertise.Develop students' skills in singing, rhythm, melody, notation, musical expression, and performance.Identify and nurture students with musical talent and provide appropriate guidance.Train and prepare students for school functions, annual events, assemblies, competitions, concerts, and cultural programmes.Conduct music rehearsals and coordinate performances involving students from different sections.Encourage students to participate in inter-school and external music competitions.Maintain and manage musical instruments, equipment, and other resources.Support the development of the school's music clubs, ensembles, choir, bands, and other performing-arts activities.Collaborate with teachers and coordinators for cultural events and interdisciplinary programmes.Maintain appropriate records of lesson plans, student progress, activities, and participation.Ensure a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment for all students.Participate in professional development programmes and contribute to the overall development of the school.
