Job DescriptionRoles & Responsibilities"1) Daily check and deliver farm updated reports to Plot Manager.Daily monitoring mortality & culls and observing bird’s behavior and feeding & drinking activity.In case of abnormally high mortality informing Vet care Supervisor & concerned Plot Manager immediately.""4) Instruction to farm forman for necessary tasks, especially after farm visit in written.Organize washing and cleaning of the uniforms and towels on daily basis.Organize specific operations i.e., grading vaccination, beak trimming, rejects and sex error removal etc.""7) Applying all bio-security recommendations and supervising the medication if needed and to maintain farm and staff & living hygiene.Weighing birds on weekly basis as per protocol & keeping records.""Daily visiting farm and observe following:a) Daily Feeding timeb) Temperature and humidityc)Environment of the poultry housed) Ventilation parameterse) Litter conditionf) Feeder and nipple linesg) Light duration on / off / intensityh) Feed and water distributioni) Water pressure in pressure tubej) Bird’s activity, fleshing, health statusk) Attendance record ""9) Supervising the grading of pullets as per standard operating procedure.Deciding for feed allocation (increment) based on body weight gain and deviation from std body weight.Keeping optimum level of biosecurity within the farm by organizing the main farm entrance foot dip cleaning and refreshing it with disinfectant.Collecting feed, water & blood samples as required.""13) Ensure cooling pads clean as per schedule given.Ensuring feed demand request as per amount to be given to the birds on weekly basis.Ensuring the efficiency of fans, lighting equipment, heaters, and thermometers and measuring scales etc. and getting them calibrated periodically.""16) Distributing & counting of birds in pens according to the population of the pen. 17) Beak trimming and correction of males and females as required.Adjustment of feeding ,watering & floor space whenever required.Supervising operations like preparation, cleaning and disinfections between the crops. ""20) Continuous training and upgrading of new and existing employees and keeping records of training.Applying the Management policies and technical factors for the optimum performance of the flock.Administering lighting program according to standard procedures.""23) Observing daily production and taking steps to have the maximum hatching eggs and check daily egg rejection at farm level.Supervising daily egg collection as per schedule given for auto collection and grading of eggs.Keeping hatch able eggs inside egg store immediately after collection and grading next day before packing in carton boxes.""26) Daily egg weighing as per procedure and keep record at farm as weekly egg weight.Dispatch all hatch able and reject eggs to Main egg warehouse store.Strict to Standard operating procedures and ready for audit as per system."
