Control & Instrumentation Technician

Support the management of the long term gas turbine service contract with respect to planned and unplanned outageservices of gas turbines
2.
Adhere to routine plant maintenance plans through the use of CMMS.
3.
Support successful preparations and completion of planned shutdowns
4.
Support the implementation of a Long Term engineering strategic plan
5.
Recognise faults and their causes, and propose solutions
6.
Support life cycle management for all I&C, DCS systems
7.
Support Operations Department in the safe and efficient delivery of high levels of commercial availability withinenvironment limits
8.
Be an active part of the maintenance team and help it to meet appropriate people and plant related performancemeasures
9.
Ensure Company Health, Safety, and Environmental policies and procedures are followed.
10.
Participate in internal / external Quality, HS&E audits and monitor relevant findings
11.
Help ensure all procedures, documentation, drawings and manuals are kept up to date and necessary training iscompleted in a timely manner
12.
Participate in suitable training programs, both for individual development and engineering competence, and developknowledge and experience in colleagues
13.
Work within budgets for maintenance and provide feedback on expenditure, explaining variances, potential risks and/orproblems and recommending solutions
14.
Support an environment and mechanism where communication and cooperation between the Maintenance andOperation teams, as well as with Admin Staff, is maintained at excellent levels.
15.
Continues improvement in the process of work.
16.Any other tasks that may be required.
