Monitor and review all day-to-day operational issues at the station, including check-in, safety and security, disruption handling and service recovery in accordance with the laid down procedures;Manage, organize and coach the airport teamRepresent SalamAir in liaising with various authorities at the station level and manage the airport operation efficientlyIssue an instructive plan to all handling agent staff and provide efficient passenger service; Conduct briefing and debriefing to the handling agent staff; Protect the Financial Interest of the companyCoordinate with the ground operation and flight operation during the disruption handlingMaintain constant liaison with the ground operation in the event of technical delay, obtain briefed details and implement the recovery plan givenEnsure the current edition /revision of manuals is readily available to all relevant offices and staff personnelEnsure adequate internal and external resources are available and correctly trained, deployed and presentedEnsure all advisories or circulars received from ground operations are transmitted to all relevant personnelEnsure all incidents/accidents are reported to the SalamAir HQ using the approved format or through the system, and assist SalamAir HQ for further investigationRecommend possible development of Service Level Agreements to support renegotiation of existing AgreementsEnsure daily flight handling reports, disruption reports and other reports are sent to the SalamAir HQ without delayLiaise with local authorities and internal departments and initiate actions as and when requiredTo ensure the company uniform and grooming standards are being adhered to at all timesContinuously promote the image of the companyImplement, monitor/review contracted suppliers against established SLAs and KPIs and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, company policies and procedures at allocated outstationPromote awareness and compliance of service providers with the regulations of the authority in the country of operationOversee the baggage irregularitiesEnsure adherence to policies and procedures laid down in the ground operation manualIdentifying and reporting all occurrences, hazards, operational irregularities, unsafe conditions or practices in a timely manner and be familiar with the company SMS policy and control all ground handling costs to ensure SalamAir operations are managed in the most cost-efficient way. Also, ensure station bills are validated and approved as per the signed SGHA / SLA.Responsible for identifying safety risks to support safety objectives and maintaining security standards in accordance with the guidelines outlined in the current version of AOSP Chapter 3.4 and 14.13.Any other duties that may be assigned by the line manager.RequirementsRequirements:Bachelor’s degree in aviation management, Business Administration, or a related field.Minimum of 10 years of experience in airport operations or aviation management, preferably in a leadership role.Strong knowledge of International Immigration, VISA, federal aviation regulations and safety standards.Familiarity with airport management systems and software applications.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Good command on MS. Office ie Word, excel, PowerPoint etc.Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.Knowledge of emergency response procedures and crisis management protocols.Strong leadership and management abilities with the ability to effectively coordinate and motivate a diverse team.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with stakeholders, resolve conflicts, and build positive relationships.In-depth knowledge of aviation regulations, safety protocols, and security procedures
