Fleet Support & IOT Engineer

Minimum Required Qualifications, Certificates & Skills
Qualifications (e.g., Education)
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
Work Experience (e.g., Number of years and field / role)
Minimum 7 years in IoT, fleet support systems, or a related field preferably in the transportation sector with 3-4 year’s GCC experience in a similar or equivalent role within a highly reputed company
Certificates & Trainings
Any relevant certification or training such as:
Certified IoT Developer (CIoTD)
Certified Fleet Manager (CFM)
Project Management Professional (PMP)
Skills
IoT solution development, Fleet support system maintenance, Data analysis and reporting, Cloud computing (AWS, Azure)

Main Responsibilities & Tasks
Key Responsibilities & Tasks
IoT Solution Development and Implementation
Design, develop, and implement IoT solutions to optimize fleet operations, improve safety & enhance customer experience
Install, configure, and maintain hardware & software systems that support the Academy's learning environment
Develop custom software solutions to improve operations, including app integration/development and social media content creation
Fleet Support System Maintenance and Optimization
Maintain and support fleet support systems, ensuring optimal performance & minimal downtime
Manage and optimize fleet management systems for real-time tracking, maintenance scheduling & reporting
Implement preventive maintenance for EV and CNG vehicles systems
Data Analysis and Reporting
Analyze IoT data and fleet support system data to identify trends & areas for improvement
Develop and provide regular reports to stakeholders, highlighting key performance indicators & areas for improvement
Identify FMS data trends within the Karwa Academy Fleet
Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, maintenance, and customer service
Communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders, providing clear and concise explanations
Coordinate and promote the Karwa Academy with external stakeholders, suppliers, service providers & regulatory bodies
Innovation and Professional Development
Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in IoT & fleet support systems
Evaluate and integrate emerging technologies like AI, machine learning & blockchain into fleet operations
Monitor industry trends for continuous learning and professional development
