The Petroleum Engineer Graduate role offers a unique opportunity to develop core petroleum engineering skills within a high performing subsurface team supporting Block?061 (Khazzan & Ghazeer fields), a world-class tight gas and retrograde gas condensate asset. The role focuses on well and reservoir surveillance, production optimization, and reservoir management in a complex depletion driven system. The successful candidate will gain hands on experience working with real field data, contributing to technical studies, and supporting day-to-day operational decision making. Working under the guidance of experienced engineers, this role provides structured development in: Well and reservoir performance monitoring Production forecasting and optimization Reservoir management and depletion planning Integrated subsurface and operations workflows This position offers a strong foundation for a long-term career in petroleum engineering through a combination of on-the-job learning, field exposure, and technical mentorship Key job accountabilities may include: Support well and reservoir surveillance activities, including data gathering, analysis, and performance monitoring. Assist in analyzing performance and identifying optimization opportunities to maximize gas and condensate recovery. Contributes to reservoir management tasks such as decline analysis, material balance, depletion tracking and forecasting. Participate in well testing, intervention planning, and follow-up on execution results. Prepare technical reports, presentations, and documentation to support decision-making. Work closely with multidisciplinary teams (geoscience, drilling, operations) to deliver integrated solutions. Ensure all tasks are performed in compliance with company standards, HSE requirements, and best practices. Actively engage in training and development activities to build both technical and professional competencies. You are expected to demonstrate: A passion to develop a career in the energy industry. Proficient in English and Arabic communication and presentation. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills. An ability to utilize multiple data sets to reach and integrated conclusion. A proficiency with, or ability to learn to use, a digital toolset. Program eligibility: Bachelor and/or master’s degree in Geology, Geoscience, Earth Sciences or a closely related discipline Graduates of 2024, 2025 or 2026 academic years.
