Logistics Strategy and Material Management Expert

• Conceptualize, build, and implement large-scale, enterprise-wide programs encompassing logistics strategy, digital transformation, and continuous operational excellence.
• Spearhead the ideation, development, and implementation of bespoke and industry-standard technology and business solutions to modernize logistics workflows.
• Review, assess, and optimize logistics, materials management, and supply chain operating models, procedures, contracts, and governance frameworks.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives utilizing Lean, Operational Excellence, process optimization, and data-driven methodologies.
• Identify, mitigate, and address systemic operational challenges impacting business performance, including planning, integration, resource optimization, service delivery, and stakeholder alignment.
• Partner and collaborate with internal departments (e.g., procurement, production, HSE) and external partners (e.g., vendors, regulators, etc.) to ensure optimal, cost-effective business delivery.
• Provide leadership and oversight to a team of contract holders, ensuring robust contract management and governance practices are consistently applied to support business operations.
• Drive performance management through regular SLA reviews with contractor partners, identifying improvement opportunities and ensuring timely implementation of corrective actions to achieve operational and commercial objectives.
• Establish performance management frameworks incorporating leading and lagging KPIs, performance dashboards, benchmarking, and governance reporting.
• Oversee the end-to-end execution of major logistics initiatives, ensuring alignment with corporate goals, safety standards, and project delivery timelines.
• Embed Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) protocols directly into standard physical and digital logistics workflows.
• Design, implement, and track key logistics dashboards to drive accountability, cost savings, and operational visibility across all segments.
• Integrate logistics and supply chain services into short-, medium-, and long-term business planning processes.
• Develop a high-performance culture through coaching, mentoring, succession planning, performance management, and capability development.
• Mentor and develop national talent to enhance organizational capability and leadership succession.
• Develop and maintain strategies, standards, procedures, work instructions, governance frameworks, and performance measurement systems.

Health, Safety, & Environment (HSE) Requirements
• Actively promote and model a "zero-incident" safety culture across all warehouses, transit, and asset delivery operations.
• Ensure all logistics activities, transport networks, and physical yards fully comply with regional and international oil and gas regulations.
• Conduct routine risk assessments and process audits on critical logistics corridors to minimize operational disruptions and environmental impacts.
