Job Title Fund Manager – Public Market (Equity)

Reporting to Head of Public Markets

Main Role (Overall accountability):
Part of the Bank’s Asset Management team responsible for investment management activities across offerings/ products in public markets. Tasks will involve undertaking research and financial analysis, managing investments, business development, fundraising and providing analytical and documentation support.

Key Accountabilities:
• Managing and developing business in the public equity to:
o Ensure outperformance of mandates
o Earn performance fees on the mandates
o Grow the assets under management
o Comply with investment guidelines and Bank policies
• Identifying investments and analyzing investment opportunities
• Screening, undertaking research, financial modeling
• Monitoring of existing investment performance
• Investment reporting/ investor updates based on product/ regulatory requirements
• Trade placements
• Coordinate for organizing Board Meetings and preparing presentations to the Board
• Ensure the maintenance of due records of all investment management activities
• Business development activities to grow the assets from existing and new client
• New product development

Personnel Qualifications:
• Post-Graduation with specialization in Finance/Accounts/Economics
• CFA desirable
• 15 years experience in in public equity/ investment management/research in equity markets
• Good analytical skills
• Good communication skills
• Ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines and undertake travel as per business requirements
