Job DescriptionRoles & ResponsibilitiesAbout the Role:-We are seeking a creative, passionate, and experienced Art Teacher to join our Middle Section. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing students’ artistic skills, creativity, imagination, and appreciation of visual arts through engaging and age-appropriate lessons aligned with the CBSE curriculum.Key Responsibilities:-Plan and deliver engaging Art & Visual Arts lessons for students in Grades VI–VIII.Develop students’ skills in drawing, sketching, painting, craft, design, and other art forms.Prepare lesson plans, teaching resources, activities, and practical projects.Introduce students to different artistic techniques, styles, artists, and art traditions.Encourage creativity, self-expression, experimentation, and independent thinking.Assess students’ artistic development and maintain appropriate academic records.Provide constructive feedback to help students improve their artistic skills.Organise and support art exhibitions, competitions, displays, cultural programmes, and school events.Display students’ artwork around the school to create an inspiring learning environment.Maintain and manage art materials, equipment, and classroom resources responsibly.Ensure a safe, clean, and well-organised art classroom.Integrate technology and innovative teaching methods where appropriate.Collaborate with other teachers and participate in school activities and professional development programmes.Maintain effective communication with students, parents, and school management.
