Sr. BI & Data Visualization Analyst

Qualifications (e.g., Education)
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
Work Experience (e.g., Number of years and field / role)
Minimum 6-7 years in business intelligence, data analysis, or related field preferably in the transportation sector with 3-4 year’s GCC experience in a similar or equivalent role within a highly reputed company
Certificates & Trainings
Any relevant certification or training such as:
Certified Business Intelligence Analyst (CBIA)
Certified Data Analyst (CDA)
Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate
Skills
Cloud Computing (e.g., AWS, Azure), Machine Learning and Predictive Analytics, Data Mining and Statistical Analysis, IT Project Management (e.g., Agile, Scrum)

Main Responsibilities & Tasks
Key Responsibilities & Tasks
Business Intelligence Solution Design
Design and develop scalable & sustainable business intelligence solutions to meet evolving business requirements
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs, identify opportunities, and develop tailored solutions
Ensure solutions align with organizational goals, objectives, and strategic initiatives
Data Visualization and Reporting
Design and develop intuitive and interactive data visualizations & reports to support informed decision-making
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand reporting requirements, identify key performance indicators, and develop solutions
Ensure data visualizations and reports are accurate, dependable & meet business needs, with a focus on data quality and integrity
BI Solution Maintenance and Support
Maintain and support existing BI solutions, ensuring they continue to meet business needs & adapt to changing requirements
Troubleshoot issues and resolve problems in a timely & effective manner, minimizing downtime and ensuring business continuity
Collaborate with the IT Team to ensure BI solutions align with organizational IT strategies, architecture, and security standards
Data Analysis and Insights
Analyze complex data sets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that support business decision-making & drive growth
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business questions, develop data-driven solutions, and identify opportunities for process improvement
Present findings and insights to stakeholders, providing actionable recommendations for business improvement & strategic initiatives
Process Improvement and Knowledge Sharing
Identify areas for process improvement, proposing changes to BI processes and procedures to increase efficiency & effectiveness
Share knowledge and expertise with junior team members, mentoring & guiding them on BI best practices, tools, and technologies
Stay up to date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies, applying knowledge to improve BI processes, solutions & services
