Senior IPA Engineer

Job PurposeAs a Senior IPA Engineer, you will collaborate cross-functionally with business stakeholders, business analysts, and technical teams. You will design, develop, test, implement, and maintain UiPath automation solutions while mentoring junior team members and ensuring the highest quality standards are met.Duties & ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, test and deploy UiPath workflows (e.g., multi-system integrations) using Studio, core activities and other relevant technologies and attend to debugging tasks for smooth execution in alignment with client expectations.Execute routine support and maintenance tasks to ensure smooth operation of automated processes.Contribute to documenting processes, technical specifications, code reviews and adhere to UiPath best practices (e.g., ReFramework, error handling).Implement error handling, logging, and reusable components using ReFramework.Develop custom activities and reusable components to enhance efficiency and integrate advanced tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Azure AI).Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate UiPath solutions with other enterprise systems.Share expertise and recommend solutions in line with industry best practices.Participate in code reviews and quality assurance processes.Architect complex workflows involving AI/ML, Document Understanding, and cognitive automation.Stay current with UiPath technology advancements (including IDP, OCR, AI/ML integrations) and share insights with the team.Optimize licensing costs and resource allocation in Orchestrator.Lead client workshops to identify automation opportunities and build business cases.Ensure compliance with security standards and best practices.Support process analysis and solution design, ensuring comprehensive documentation and knowledge transfer.Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior team members.Perform all other duties as assigned by the team lead/line manager.Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

7+ years of overall experience in software development

5+ years of hands-on experience in RPA/IPA (UiPath)

UiPath Certified Professional Automation Developer – Professional and Specialized AI Professional certifications

Proficient in C#.NET, VB.NET, C++, Python, and scripting languages such as JavaScript, PowerShell, and VBA

Experience with DevOps (CI/CD pipelines)

Strong background in Intelligent Document Processing (IDP), Optical Character Recognition (OCR), and process mining

Skilled in working with database systems (SQL, NoSQL) and API integrations

Excellent communication, time management, and team collaboration skills

Ability to explain technical details to non-technical audiences

Strong attention to detail, analytical, and problem-solving abilities

Self-motivated, capable of working independently and taking initiative

Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in fast-paced environments

Proven record of delivering complex automation projects on time

Experience working in Agile/Scrum methodologies
