Country Manager - Oman Key Responsibilities1. Country Business Portfolio Ownership• Own and grow company’s Oman order book across solar EPC (including renewable/utility-scale IPP projects), transmission line, and transformer business lines.• Build a qualified pipeline across Oman's solar IPP programme, transmission network expansion, and transformer/substation opportunities.• Align country portfolio priorities with company’s broader GCC/Middle East growth strategy.2. Business Development & Market Expansion• Track and pursue OPWP/Nama-issued solar IPP tenders and OETC transmission and transformer opportunities.• Build relationships with EPC contractors, financiers, and consortium partners to position company’s competitively.• Monitor Oman's renewable energy targets (45% of installed capacity by 2030) and upcoming IPP tender pipeline to inform bid timing.3. Bid Management & Commercial Closure• Lead techno-commercial proposal development, consortium structuring, and contract negotiation for country tenders.• Coordinate with India-based engineering, procurement, and finance teams to structure competitive, bankable bids.• Drive commercial closure of MoUs, EPC contracts, and consortium/JV agreements in Oman.4. Stakeholder & Government Relations• Serve as company’s primary representative with OPWP, OETC, and relevant Omani government bodies.• Manage local sponsor, agent, and joint-venture relationships required for market entry and vendor approval.• Represent company’s at regional industry forums and government-led investment engagements in Oman.5. Country P&L & Reporting• Own country-level revenue targets, pipeline conversion metrics, and performance reporting to India leadership.• Monitor project risk, payment security, and local compliance requirements across all business lines.
