Job DescriptionRoles & ResponsibilitiesWe are looking for a Safety Officer to support our heat exchanger maintenance project at OQ Refinery, Oman. The Safety Officer will be responsible for monitoring site safety, conducting inspections, supporting risk assessments, ensuring compliance with HSE procedures, and promoting a strong safety culture at the worksite.Key ResponsibilitiesMonitor and enforce HSE rules and procedures at the worksite.Conduct daily safety inspections and identify unsafe conditions.Support preparation and review of Risk Assessments, JSA and Method Statements.Monitor Permit-to-Work (PTW) activities.Ensure compliance with safety requirements for confined space, hot work, working at height and LOTO.Conduct toolbox talks and safety inductions.Support incident and near-miss investigations.Monitor safety during heat exchanger maintenance activities, including hydrojetting, chemical cleaning, retubing, blinding/deblinding and lifting activities.Ensure proper use of PPE and compliance with site safety requirements.Prepare and maintain HSE reports and records.
