Maintenance Engineer

• Responsible for all plant equipment maintenance strategies and activities within targeted time frames.
• Maintenance compliance responsibility covers all disciplines mechanical, electrical, instrumentation & automation.
• Coordinate operation and maintenance activities to ensure that the plant is operated according to the demand, operation plan and business plan. Efforts to consistently achieve operational targets, contractual obligations & reliability.
• Ensure all plant equipment is healthy by providing quality maintenance.
• Inspect completed work to ensure that maintenance completed correctly, and machinery/equipment conform to specifications and safety standards.
• Implement the SOPs and working routines. Develop the new procedures as and when required.
• Prioritize and assign tasks so that team resources are used effectively, and that work schedules and targets are met.
• Monitor condition of the equipment, materials, parts, and tools, ensure those are maintained according to applicable guidelines and policies, take corrective actions when needed.
• Problem solving & Root cause analysis for all plant equipment.
• Maintenance Reports.
• Incidents reporting, analysis, investigations, and action plans implementation.
• Spares/consumables/tools planning & assist in procurement. Be responsible for effective inventory control/management in the responsible area.
• Suggest and implement improvements.
• Ensure that the work is executed meeting all Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental standards/guidelines as per MPC/MIPP & OEM.
• Provide theoretical and on the job training for subordinates including preparation of training material, structured approach of team development to be applied.
• Coach and mentor maintenance staff and assist them to diagnose more complex.
• problems with machinery.
• Manage warranties & defects.
• Ensure good housekeeping and clean plants always.
• Prepared to work in shifts (including night) if required.
• Audits compliance & action plans implementation.
• Assist in business plan & budget preparations.
• Proper Communications with the stakeholders & plant team.
• Maintaining good teamwork including other department personnel.
• Ensure compliance with all permits/licenses and legal requirements.
• Liaise with authorities as and when required.
• Performing Operations Engineer responsibilities as and when required.
• Any other responsibilities assigned by superior as per company requirement.
