(2) Ensuring high levels of BI availability through support functions and in-depth testing, and (3) Working with business units to meet their BI requirements in accordance with OQ RPI BI standards; in order to support information Management & Digital Delivery (IMDD) on goals achievements. The position will act in accordance with the Group’s Mission, Vision, Values & Strategies, as well as, policies, guidelines, and international standards, supported by an IT Technology platform, HSE standards, Omani’s government & other legal justifications, and best international practices in consonance with national objectives.Main tasks and responsibilities  Scope Business AnalysisTransition developed BI systems to the Operations & Support team.Technical Assistance Compliance Accountabilities: Business AnalysisProvides support for the for the successful delivery of Business analysis to gather required BI system requirements. Provides support for the for the successful delivery of Translate business requirements into specifications that will be used to drive data store/data warehouse/ data mart design and configuration.Transition developed BI systems to the Operations & Support team.Provides support for the for the successful delivery of Transition developed BI systems to the Operations & Support team. Provides support for the for the successful delivery performance of enterprise data and BI environments for both external and internal users.Ensure proper configuration management and change controls are implemented for BI.Technical Assistance Provides support for the for the successful delivery of technical assistance and cross training to other team members.ComplianceDesign and implement technology best practices, guidelines, and repeatable processes in accordance with OQ BI standards and guidelines.  Key interactionsInternal: Assurance, Finance, Commercial - Downstream  External: Staffing specialized Contractors, Vendors & SuppliersNotable Working Conditions. Office environment, intensive computer screen use, sporadic visits to operation site.Education requirementsMinimum Qualifications for this position are a bachelor’s in computer science, Software Engineering, Information Management Systems, or a related disciplineLanguageExcellent knowledge of written, read, and spoken English (required) Arabic - Native (desirable)Background and experienceCompetencies and skills5+ years of experience in developing reports based on user requirements, including visualization development.Relevant experience implementing enterprise-scale reporting systems, including:Collaborating with users in a requirements analysis roleExperience with data warehouse implementations.Strong knowledge of logical and physical data modelling conceptsExperience utilizing SAP technologies and development with SAP BW/BI applications in a bonus.Experience with the SAP Activate Methodology is bonus.SAP Certification in one or more of the following disciplines is a bonus:SAP BW/4HANA, SAP HANA Modelling, SAP Analytics, SAP Business Intelligence SQL and DW implementation as a bonus experienceUse of SQL and RDBMS systems (DB2, Oracle, SQL Server, etc.) is considered a bonusSoft: People Managing Skills Understanding of process Corporate affairs management Systems Innovation and trends Excellent business and technical report writing skills.Strong analytical skills, Technical: Proficiency with MS Excel, Proficiency with visualizing concepts & skills
