Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities:

Supervise and manage daily drilling operations and rig activities.
Ensure implementation of well control procedures and safe work practices.
Plan and oversee rig moves, crew activities, and operational execution.
Act as the company representative on-site, maintaining coordination with the client and Drilling Superintendent.
Provide leadership, coaching, and performance management to rig crews.
Enforce safety policies, regulatory requirements, and company management systems (QHSE, DOP, SM).
Lead emergency response, including well control, evacuation, and incident management.
Promote a strong safety culture and ensure training compliance for all personnel.
Ensure all rig equipment and systems operate within safe and optimal parameters.
Oversee inspection, testing, and preventive maintenance programs.
Maintain inventory control of assets, consumables, and materials.
Maintain accurate operational records, logs, and reports (including IADC reports).
Monitor budget, resource utilization, and documentation compliance.
Ensure proper communication and handover between shifts and departments.
Support well planning activities including casing, cementing, and drilling calculations.
Monitor downhole conditions and ensure appropriate operational responses.
Interpret technical data, gauges, and reports to optimize drilling performance.
Oversee camp standards, medical support, communications, and living conditions on site.

Minimum Requirments:

General diploma certificate.
A valid IWCF Certificate, (Level 4).
12 years of experience.
