Head of Airport Operations Oversight Section

Manages and supervises airport operations oversight activities, ensuring airports and airport operators comply with approved national regulations and international standards to enhance airport safety and operational efficiency. Contributes to improving airport operations oversight processes in support of the organization's objectives.

##General Requirements:
PhD in Civil Engineering, Airport Engineering, Quantity Surveying Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Aircraft Maintenance Engineering, Aviation Science, Aviation Safety Management, Aviation Management, Airport Management, Business Administration, or International Business Administration.
Master's Degree in one of the above disciplines + at least three (3) years of experience after graduation in Airport Operations or Airport Safety.
Bachelor's Degree in one of the above disciplines + at least six (6) years of experience after graduation in Airport Operations or Airport Safety.
##Specific Requirements:
Must have specialized training in Airport Operations or Airport Engineering.
Extensive knowledge of ICAO Annexes, national aviation safety regulations, and the Omani Civil Aviation Law.
Knowledge of Quality Management System (QMS), Safety Management System (SMS), and the State Safety Programme (SSP).
Ability to prepare and update regulations related to the design, operation, and maintenance of airports and heliports (CAR-139), as well as operational safety guidance manuals.
Ability to develop and update airport safety systems and procedures and recommend best practices to enhance airport safety.
Strategic thinking and analytical skills to develop effective risk mitigation strategies.
Strong communication and negotiation skills.
Ability to prepare official correspondence and reports in both Arabic and English.
Proficiency in using computer applications.
Proficiency in Arabic and English, both spoken and written.
