Maintenance Planning Senior Engineer

JOB CONTENT
Ensures the reliability, availability, and performance of OETC’s assets. This role involves developing and optimizing maintenance plans using CMMS and leveraging data from the online condition monitoring system. The engineer ensures alignment with global best practices, including ISO 55001, and collaborates with cross-functional teams to address asset performance issues and enhance maintenance strategies
• Assist with the development of Asset Performance Framework, Strategies, Objectives, Plans, and Asset Risk Register.
• Develop, upload, and manage annual maintenance plans in the CMMS, utilizing historical data and asset performance trends to optimize reliability and minimize downtime
• Assist in the development and implementation of best-practice asset management standards, policies, and procedures in line with ISO 55001 and other global standards
• Review, validate, and update work orders in the CMMS to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with maintenance schedules
• Identify and address missing, overdue, or incomplete work orders, ensuring data integrity and timely execution of maintenance tasks
• Monitor the execution of maintenance activities to ensure compliance with approved plans, schedules, and quality standards
• Follow up on incomplete or delayed maintenance tasks, coordinating with relevant teams to resolve issues and minimize disruptions
• Prepare and present maintenance progress reports, highlighting key achievements, challenges, and areas for improvement
• Work closely with relevant departments, including operations, performance engineering, and field teams, to ensure effective maintenance planning and execution
• Ensure seamless integration of OLCM data with the CMMS to enable data-driven decision-making
• Collaborate with performance engineers to analyze asset performance data, identify reliability and asset health risks, and provide input to develop proactive and targeted maintenance strategies
• Highlight performance-related concerns and incorporate them into maintenance plans to address potential risks and improve asset reliability
• Provide feedback to performance engineers on maintenance outcomes to support continuous improvement and innovation in asset management practices
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to enhance maintenance planning, execution, and asset performance
• Contribute to the preparation of business and work plans to achieve technical deliverable
• Manage and review critical spares requirements, coordinating with procurement and inventory teams to ensure the timely availability of resources, tools, and spare parts, minimizing downtime during maintenance activities
• Contributes to continuous improvement and innovation in optimized asset maintenance plans.
• Adhere to the Company’s health, safety, environmental and security policies always and immediately report violations of these policies to OETC health, safety & environment representatives;
• Knowledge and Understanding of Asset Management, HSE Management System and IT Security Standard Requirements according to ISO55001, ISO 14001, ISO45001 and ISO 27001 to carry out the assigned duties as per the roles and responsibilities matrix.
Job Qualifications and Experience
Minimum Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in electrical Power Engineering or equivalent
Professional Experience
• 5+ years business experience in the utility of Transmission business
