Job Details
• Number of Vacancies: 2 Positions
• Salary Range: OMR 500 – 620 per month
• Work Location: All governorates of Oman except Dhofar (Preference will be given to applicants from the local governorate)

Job Purpose
The Infrastructure and Systems Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, maintaining, and optimizing the organization's IT infrastructure and systems to ensure high availability, security, reliability, and performance of business operations.

Key Responsibilities
• Design, implement, and maintain IT infrastructure including servers, storage systems, virtualization platforms, and network services.
• Monitor system performance, availability, and capacity to ensure efficient operation.
• Install, configure, upgrade, and troubleshoot Windows and Linux server environments.
• Manage and maintain Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, file services, and related infrastructure components.
• Support virtualization technologies such as VMware, Hyper-V, or similar platforms.
• Implement and maintain backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity solutions.
• Monitor infrastructure security and support cybersecurity initiatives to protect organizational assets.
• Perform preventive maintenance, system patching, and upgrades.
• Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure, server, and system-related issues.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, system configurations, and operational procedures.
• Coordinate with vendors, service providers, and internal teams to support infrastructure projects and operational requirements.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and best practices.

Qualifications
• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Telecommunications Engineering, or a related field.

Experience
• Practical Experience: 0 (No prior work experience required)
• Internship or academic projects in IT infrastructure or systems administration are an advantage.

Technical Skills
• Strong knowledge of Windows Server and Linux operating systems.
• Basic understanding of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and Microsoft services.
• Familiarity with virtualization technologies such as VMware and Hyper-V.
• Knowledge of backup and disaster recovery concepts.
• Understanding of networking concepts such as TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, and firewalls.
• Basic knowledge of cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure or AWS is an advantage.
• Ability to analyze system logs and troubleshoot technical issues.
