Job DescriptionRoles & ResponsibilitiesOversee and optimize the potato chip production line, ensuring peak efficiency and minimal downtime to achieve production targets.Implement and maintain preventative maintenance programs for all plant equipment, including fryers, slicers, and packaging machinery, to prolong equipment life and reduce repair costs.Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, electrical, and automation issues promptly, minimizing production interruptions and ensuring product quality.Manage and coordinate engineering projects, such as equipment upgrades and facility expansions, from concept to completion, adhering to budgets and timelines.Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations (OSHA, food safety standards), and environmental standards, fostering a safe working environment.Develop and implement process improvements to enhance product quality, reduce waste, and increase overall plant efficiency, focusing on innovative solutions.Manage a team of maintenance technicians, providing training, guidance, and performance evaluations to foster a high-performing maintenance department.Collaborate with cross-functional teams (production, quality, and supply chain) to optimize plant operations and address production challenges proactively.Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to plant performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.Manage the plant's utilities, including water, electricity, and compressed air, ensuring efficient usage and cost-effectiveness, focusing on sustainability.
