Financial Analyst

<p>Purpose of Job:</p>
<p>Analyze financial data and prepare reports to support budgeting, forecasting, and decision-making, ensuring accurate insights that drive organizational performance.</p>
<p>Key Responsibilities &amp; Accountabilities:&nbsp;</p>
<p>1. Collect and analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.</p>
<p>2. Prepare management reports, dashboards, and financial models to support decision-making at operational and executive levels.</p>
<p>3. Perform variance analysis and generate management reports to support decision making&nbsp;</p>
<p>4. Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes to ensure alignment with business plans and objectives.</p>
<p>5. Ensure compliance with financial reporting standards, internal policies and regulatory obligations.</p>
<p>6. Evaluate project and investment proposals to assess financial viability and risks.</p>
<p>7. Monitor key financial and operational metrics to provide timely insights to stakeholders.</p>
<p>8. Support audits and compliance activities by preparing required financial documentation.</p>
<p>9. Collaborate with operations, supply chain, and project teams to integrate financial analysis into business planning.</p>
<p>10. Identify and implement process improvement and automation opportunities&nbsp;</p>
<p>Principal Challenges:</p>
<p>1. Balancing detailed financial analysis with the need for timely reporting.</p>
<p>2. Interpreting complex financial data for non-finance stakeholders.</p>
<p>3. Adapting analysis and forecasting to changing market and project conditions.</p>
<p>Minimum Academic / Professional Qualification:</p>
<p>1. Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.</p>
<p>2. Professional Qualification (ACCA, CA, CFA or similar is a must)&nbsp;</p>
<p>Minimum Work Experience:&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</p>
<p>1. Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial analysis, planning, or reporting roles.</p>
<p>2. Minimum 2 years in SAP as super user</p>
<p>Skills &amp; Competencies Required:&nbsp;</p>
<p>1. Strong financial modeling and analytical skills.</p>
<p>2. Proficiency in MS Excel, financial systems, and SAP ERP tool is a must</p>
<p>3. Knowledge of accounting principles (IFRS/GAAP).</p>
<p>4. Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.</p>
<p>5. Good communication and presentation skills.</p>
<p>6. Ability to work with cross-functional teams.</p>
<p>7. High attention to detail, accuracy, and confidentiality.</p>
<p>8. Minning industry experience is a must&nbsp;</p>
