Credit Reviewer

SUMMARY
OF ROLEThe Credit Reviewer is responsible for
the objective and thorough review of credit and investment proposals across
corporate, mid-corporate, and retail segments (with exceptions), ensuring
alignment with the bank’s credit policy, regulatory guidelines, and risk
appetite. The role supports risk mitigation by partnering with business units
to optimize facility and security structures. KEY
RESPONSIBILITIESReview and Assess Credit Proposals·    Evaluate
Corporate, Mid Corporate, Retail (exceptions), and Investment proposals (new
and renewals) to ensure compliance with Credit Policy and approved criteria.·         Share
responsibility with Business Units for the quality and integrity of proposals. Structure Facilities and Mitigate Risk·         Collaborate
with Relationship Managers and Treasury to structure credit facilities and
securities that minimize risk and align with the Bank’s interests.·         Ensure accurate
security details through coordination with the Risk Control Unit (RCU). Conduct Client Engagement and Site Visits·         Visit clients
and project locations when required to gather operational and financial
insights.·         Use findings to
support cash flow projections and enhance credit understanding. Support Policy Development and
Compliance·         Assist in reviewing and updating the Bank’s Credit Policy
periodically to reflect best practices and regulatory requirements.·         Ensure full compliance with lending and investment review
standards. Mentor
Team and Handle Ad-Hoc Tasks·         Provide guidance and knowledge transfer to junior staff and
trainees to build team capability.·         Undertake any additional responsibilities assigned by the Head of
Credit Risk or Risk Management.Requirements·         Omani National·         Bachelor’s
Degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related discipline·         5 years of
experience in Credit Risk, Credit Review, or Credit Analysis
