The Instrument, Automation & Fiscal Measurement Technician reports to the Field Maintenance Supervisor. An Instrument Automation & Fiscal Metering Technician is a professional responsible for the maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting of instruments used in industrial processes, with a specific focus on automation and fiscal metering systems. Accountabilities.• Ensure compliance of maintenance and calibration activities to safety protocols and standards with ARA E&P QHSE rules, policies, procedures & regulations.• Install, calibrate, troubleshoot, and maintain various instruments, including sensors, transmitters, controllers, Turbine flowmeters, Coriolis meters, Ultrasonic Flow meters, Densitometers, Sampling system and analysers.• Ensure that all instruments are functioning within specified parameters and in compliance with industry standards.• Implement and maintain automation systems, such as RTU, IoT sensors, DCS, Floboss S600 series Flow computer, PLC, and SCADA system.• Program and configure automation systems.• Monitor and maintain fiscal metering systems used for accurate measurement of fluids, such as oil and gas.• Perform routine inspections and calibrations to ensure precise measurement and compliance with fiscal regulations.• Identify and resolve issues related to instruments, control systems, and fiscal metering devices promptly to minimize downtime.• Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to address complex problems.• Maintain detailed records of instrument calibrations, maintenance activities, and troubleshooting procedures.• Generate reports on the performance of automation and fiscal metering systems.• Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies in instrumentation and automation.• To schedule and review the agreed planned maintenance activities and produce weekly frozen plans. Pro-actively ensure that the SAP PM maintenance schedule is adhered to.• To provide input to the 30 days and 90 days operational activity plan.• Make sure that all instrument calibrations certificates are signed and uploaded In SAP or N-drive (depending on activity).
