Job DescriptionRoles & Responsibilities220 kV GIS or above voltage levelsAlstom/GE Gas & Steam turbine Generators (Preferred)-Major maintenance activitiesPower transformers testing and maintenanceDC/UPS system maintenanceGE/Converteam excitation system D3 and D4.2,MV/LV switchgears, VFD, MOVInvolvement in power plant critical equipment obsolescence management like retrofit, complete system upgrade/replacement and periodical parts replacement projects.Should have sound knowledge in handling emergencies, breakdowns and troubleshooting of perennial problems in power plantSound have knowledge in Protection relay testing (Preferably ABB REG670/ RET670/RED670/REF542, Areva P741/P742/ P542/P543/P143 and SEL 700 series relays)Condition monitoring of electrical systems (PD testing, Thermography, DGA interpretation follow-up and others)
