Construction Manager (Industrial Building/ Factory Construction/ Warehouse/ Plant)

Job PurposeThe Construction Manager will work directly for
the Client on the Wind Turbine Manufacturing Factory project in Duqm. The role
focuses on client-side technical oversight and coordination of civil works
executed by the General Contractor, parallel with an independent Controller /
PMC company appointed by the Client.Key ResponsibilitiesAct as the Client’s
on-site civil engineering representativeReview and
comment on civil designs, shop drawings, method statements, and material
submittalsMonitor civil
works executed by the General Contractor for compliance with project
requirementsCoordinate with
the Controller / PMC company to align inspections, findings, and technical
assessmentsEnsure
compliance with project specifications, IFC drawings, and applicable standardsOversee and
review civil works including:Earthworks,
grading, and site preparationFoundations
(including heavy equipment and wind turbine manufacturing machinery
foundations)Concrete works
(structural and non-structural)Steel structures
(civil interface)Roads,
pavements, and drainage systemsBuildings and
industrial facilitiesWitness
inspections, testing, and quality checks from a Client perspectiveIdentify
technical risks, quality issues, and deviations and report them to the ClientSupport the
Client in resolving civil technical issuesReview as-built
drawings, test results, and handover documentationParticipating in
technical and coordination meetings with the Client, Controller company, and
General ContractorPromote and
monitor compliance with site HSE requirementsRequirementsIndustrial building experience (factory construction/ warehouse/ plant etc) is a must.Qualifications & ExperienceBachelor’s
degree in civil engineering10+ years of
experience in industrial or infrastructure project.Experience
working in a client-side or Consultant roleStrong
background in overseeing General Contractor civil worksExperience
coordinating with PMC / Controller companiesPrior experience
in Oman or GCC countries is an advantage
