Job DescriptionRoles & ResponsibilitiesSource and procure MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) and construction materials, equipment, and services, ensuring the best value and quality.Source and procure MEP and construction materials, equipment, and services, ensuring cost-effectiveness without compromising quality.Negotiate favorable terms with suppliers, including pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules, to optimize project budgets.Manage purchase orders from creation to closeout, ensuring accurate documentation and adherence to company policies and procedures.Evaluate supplier performance, maintain a database of approved vendors, and proactively seek out new and reliable sources.Collaborate with project managers and engineers to understand project requirements and ensure timely material availability.Monitor market trends and price fluctuations to anticipate potential cost impacts and identify opportunities for savings.Resolve invoice discrepancies and supplier issues promptly, maintaining strong relationships with vendors.Prepare and analyze procurement reports, tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement.Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and ethical sourcing practices in all procurement activities.Coordinate with logistics and warehouse teams to ensure efficient delivery, storage, and inventory management of purchased items.
