Role Objective: To support the implementation of the organization’s records management practices by maintaining, registering, organizing, and handling physical and electronic records in accordance with the requirements and instructions of the National Records & Archives Authority (NRAA) and approved company policies and procedures. Duties and Responsibilities: 1. Participate in the implementation of approved records management tools, including records classification schemes, retention schedules, and retrieval procedures, in accordance with approved policies and NRAA requirements. 2. Register records at the point of creation or receipt and classify and code them according to the approved classification scheme. 3. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records inventories for physical and electronic records. 4. Review and apply approved retention schedules to records under custody. 5. Sort intermediate records in preparation for preservation, transfer, or disposal in accordance with approved retention schedules. 6. Prepare records lists for destruction and records lists for archival transfer (deportation) in coordination with relevant departments and under approved controls. 7. Participate in transferring records to intermediate or archival storage areas and ensure accurate data entry in records tracking systems. 8. Receive incoming mail, register it according to numerical and chronological order, and classify it based on the approved records classification scheme. 9. Distribute incoming correspondence to concerned departments and retain copies as required. 10. Receive outgoing correspondence from departments, register it according to approved procedures, and coordinate its dispatch to relevant external parties. 11. Coordinate with departments to ensure proper application of records classification and coding procedures. 12. Provide operational documentation support and technical assistance to divisions and employees on records handling and filing procedures. 13. Organize and maintain records and files required for daily operational needs. 14. Prepare routine work reports related to records management activities and submit them to the line manager. 15. Prepare official letters, work notes, and basic documentation related to records management activities. 16. Participate in studies, initiatives, or proposals that support the improvement of records management practices within the organization. Education: Bachelors in Records Management and Archives Eligibility: 1- Omani Nationality 2- Bachelors Degree - Minimum GPA 2.7 3- Successeful Completion of Placement Tests 4- Strong Communication and Teamwork Skills 5-Profeciency in Arabic and English 6- Comitment to a 6 months Training Period.
