The Public Relations Officer (PRO) is responsible for managing all government-related processes and official documentation for the company in the Sultanate of Oman. The role ensures compliance with Omani labor laws, immigration regulations, municipality requirements, and commercial licensing procedures while maintaining effective relationships with government authorities. Key Responsibilities: Government Relations & Documentation Process employment visas, labor clearances, resident cards, and immigration-related documentation. Coordinate with the Ministry of Labour, Royal Oman Police (ROP), Municipality, Chamber of Commerce, and other government authorities. Handle company registrations, commercial licenses, renewals, permits, and approvals. Ensure timely renewal of visas, licenses, permits, vehicle registrations, and official company documents. Prepare and submit official applications and supporting documentation to relevant authorities. Employee Support: Support onboarding and offboarding processes related to government formalities. Coordinate visa cancellations, transfers, and labor clearances for employees. Assist employees with government-related inquiries and official procedures. Maintain accurate records of employee documentation and legal status. Compliance & Reporting: Ensure company compliance with Oman labor law and immigration regulations. Monitor document expiry dates and maintain tracking systems. Keep updated on changes in government regulations and procedures. Prepare reports related to government transactions, renewals, and compliance status. External Coordination: Build and maintain professional relationships with government departments and external service providers. Coordinate with embassies, medical centers, typing offices, and legal representatives when required. Represent the company professionally before government authorities. Qualifications & Requirements: Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Business Administration or related field. Minimum 2–5 years of experience as a PRO or Government Relations Officer in Oman. Strong knowledge of Oman labor law, immigration procedures, and commercial registration processes. Fluency in Arabic and English. Strong communication and relationship management skills. Valid Oman driving license preferred. Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under deadlines.
