<p dir = "auto"><strong>Job Purpose:</strong></p>
<p dir = "auto">The Application Developer builds and maintains internal tools, automation solutions, and AI-powered applications to enhance operational efficiency across the Bank.</p>
<p dir = "auto">He/She develops scalable, secure, and user-centric applications using open-source technologies and modern development practices. The Application Developer reduces reliance on vendor systems by delivering internal solutions aligned with the Bank’s technology standards and governance frameworks.</p>

<p dir = "auto"><strong>Key Accountabilities:</strong></p>
<p dir = "auto">• Develops internal web applications, utilities, and automation tools using open-source frameworks and modern programming languages.</p>
<p dir = "auto">• Designs and implements AI-powered solutions, including document processors, chatbots, data extractors, and workflow automation tools.</p>
<p dir = "auto">• Integrates developed applications with the Bank’s ecosystem, including M365, ServiceDesk platforms, and core banking systems where applicable.</p>
<p dir = "auto">• Applies DevSecOps practices and adheres to internal development policies and governance standards.</p>
<p dir = "auto">• Collaborates with business units to gather requirements and identify automation and digitalization opportunities.</p>
<p dir = "auto">• Translates business requirements into technical designs, scalable solutions, and working applications.</p>
<p dir = "auto">• Maintains source code repositories, version control practices, and deployment pipelines.</p>
<p dir = "auto">• Develops and maintains technical documentation, user guides, and solution architectures.</p>
<p dir = "auto">• Supports testing activities, including unit testing, UAT, and production deployments.</p>
<p dir = "auto">• Monitors application performance and resolves defects, bugs, and performance issues.</p>
<p dir = "auto">• Stays updated with emerging technologies, AI capabilities, and development best practices and applies relevant innovations.</p>

<p dir = "auto"><strong>Qualifications and Experience:</strong></p>
<p dir = "auto">• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering will be given first preference. Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology will be considered if no candidates from the first category meet the criteria.</p>
<p dir = "auto">• Strong foundation in at least one programming language, preferably Python or JavaScript/TypeScript.</p>
<p dir = "auto">• Good understanding of web development fundamentals, including HTML, CSS, REST APIs, and databases.</p>
<p dir = "auto">• Demonstrated interest in AI and machine learning through projects, coursework, or certifications.</p>
<p dir = "auto">• Basic knowledge of version control systems such as Git.</p>
<p dir = "auto">• Good communication skills in English and Arabic.</p>
