<p dir = "auto">Senior Specialist, Network is responsible for delivering advanced L2 network operations support within ODP’s managed services environment</p>
<p dir = "auto">The role ensures stability, availability, performance, and security of customer and internal network infrastructure by executing troubleshooting, configuration, monitoring, while ensuring timely escalation of design-level or complex engineering issues to Technology &amp; Innovation (CCOE)</p>
<p dir = "auto">The Senior Specialist acts as a senior technical authority during incidents, changes, and maintenance windows while supporting Junior Specialists and coordinating with vendors when required</p>

<p dir = "auto">RESPONSIBILITIES</p>
<p dir = "auto">Network Operations and L2 Support</p>
<p dir = "auto">• Operate and maintain enterprise and cloud network environments including routing, switching, firewalls, and load balancers</p>
<p dir = "auto">• Provide advanced L2 troubleshooting for network incidents within approved procedures and runbooks</p>
<p dir = "auto">• Ensure network services meet availability and performance SLAs</p>
<p dir = "auto">Incident Handling and Escalation</p>
<p dir = "auto">• Investigate and resolve network incidents using structured troubleshooting methodologies</p>
<p dir = "auto">• Analyse logs and monitoring data to identify root causes within L2 scope</p>
<p dir = "auto">• Escalate complex or design-related issues to Team Lead and Technology &amp; Innovation (COE)</p>
<p dir = "auto">• Provide accurate updates and documentation in incident tickets</p>
<p dir = "auto">Monitoring and Performance</p>
<p dir = "auto">• Monitor network health, availability, and performance using approved tools</p>
<p dir = "auto">• Identify recurring issues and performance trends</p>
<p dir = "auto">• Tune alerts and thresholds in coordination with Team Lead</p>
<p dir = "auto">Network Configuration and Maintenance</p>
<p dir = "auto">• Execute approved network configurations, patches, and maintenance activities</p>
<p dir = "auto">• Validate post-change stability and escalate engineering concerns to COE</p>
<p dir = "auto">• Support capacity growth and lifecycle activities from an operational perspective</p>
<p dir = "auto">Security Operations</p>
<p dir = "auto">• Implement and maintain network security controls as per operational standards</p>
<p dir = "auto">• Support investigation of network-related security incidents</p>
<p dir = "auto">• Escalate advanced security engineering issues to COE</p>
<p dir = "auto">Vendor Coordination</p>
<p dir = "auto">• Work with vendors for operational troubleshooting and support cases</p>
<p dir = "auto">• Provide complete diagnostics for vendor and COE escalations</p>
<p dir = "auto">Documentation and Knowledge Management</p>
<p dir = "auto">• Maintain network documentation, diagrams, and troubleshooting guides</p>
<p dir = "auto">• Document incident resolutions and known issues</p>
<p dir = "auto">• Support operational best-practice development</p>
<p dir = "auto">Team Support and Knowledge Sharing</p>
<p dir = "auto">• Provide guidance and mentoring to Junior Network Specialists</p>

<p dir = "auto">ROLE SPECIFICATIONS&nbsp;</p>
<p dir = "auto">Qualification </p>
<p dir = "auto">• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Information Technology</p>
<p dir = "auto">Certification </p>
<p dir = "auto">• CCIE Routing &amp; Switching&nbsp;</p>
<p dir = "auto">• CCNP, CCNA, NSE4-8 desirable&nbsp;</p>
<p dir = "auto">Experience </p>
<p dir = "auto">• 5+ years of experience in network operations within managed services or service delivery environments</p>
<p dir = "auto">Skills </p>
<p dir = "auto">• Strong L2 troubleshooting skills for routing, switching, firewall, and load balancing</p>
<p dir = "auto">• Experience with Cisco, Palo Alto, Juniper, F5, and Huawei networks</p>
<p dir = "auto">• Strong documentation and communication skills</p>
